Gambling Support Near Red Shores
A limit fixed before the evening starts is the simplest one to hold to. Island Casino Concierge lists the Island's help below, beginning with a line that is staffed around the clock.

Set the limit first
Before heading to either hall, settle how much the evening may cost and the hour you will leave. Carry that sum and nothing more. Stepping off the floor now and then helps, and so does an occasional look at the clock. Once the sum is spent, the night is over, with no need to win it back.
A house edge sits inside every casino game, an advantage set by the game's own rules. Over many sessions, the players as a whole end up behind. Losing is simply where that design leads, not a stretch of bad luck.
A line that answers at any hour
Dial 1-855-255-4255 for the PEI Gambling Support Line. Calls are toll-free and kept confidential, and staff answer 24 hours, 7 days a week. No time limit applies to a call. People who gamble can use it, as can family members and anyone else touched by a person's gambling. The line is run by the Gambling and Gaming Support Unit, a part of PEI's Department of Health and Wellness.
Should you prefer help at the casino itself, each Red Shores hall has a PlayWise hub with information on healthy play. A PlayWise Advisor answers at 902-620-4267 or by email at playwiseredshores@alc.ca.
Break in Play at both halls
Red Shores calls its self-exclusion program Break in Play. Put simply, a person asks to be kept off the gaming floors for a chosen period. It applies to both floors, Charlottetown and Summerside alike. A short break is 30, 60 or 90 days, and a long one can be 6 or 12 months, or 24 or 36 months.
Enrolment can happen on site at either hall, or off site, for example through Addiction Services. PlayWise Advisors answer questions at 902-620-4267. It takes about 20 minutes with two staff members, and only the person taking the break can enrol.
Once confirmed, a break cannot be cancelled. Anyone who enters during a break is escorted out and loses any credits, chips or vouchers, which are donated to United Way. The break may also be extended. To return, a person asks for Return to Play, which includes a review, a meeting on site and a 24-hour wait. Without that request, the break continues.
