Joining the Red Shores Rewards Club
The rules at the door of either Red Shores casino are few, and the first of them is age. The Rewards Club has a handful more, set out below by the Island concierge desk.

Who may enter
At both Red Shores casinos, the gaming floors admit people aged 19 and older. Atlantic Lottery, the operator of Red Shores, limits buying, playing and redeeming its products to those 19 or over. The Lotteries Commission Act adds a further rule: a lottery or race ticket cannot be sold to a buyer under 19.
Neither casino publishes how identification is checked at the door. Should you plan an evening at either hall, carry valid government-issued photo ID. The same card is needed at the Rewards Club Desk, so one document serves both purposes.
Becoming a member
There is no fee to join the Red Shores Rewards Club. Sign-up happens in person at the Charlottetown casino's Rewards Club Desk, 58 Kensington Road. Applicants must have turned 19 and should carry valid government-issued photo ID. Should a question come up before the trip, the Rewards Club line is 902-620-4266. For other matters at the casino, the Charlottetown main line is 902-620-4222.
How points are earned and lost
On the slots, 1 point is credited for every $2 played. Table play is scored differently: points reflect the length of play and the size of the average bet. Before the first hand, the card should already be with the dealer, not handed over later. Those tables are found in the Charlottetown casino's Table Games room.
Through Points2Play, points convert into slot credits. They can also be used for discounts on dining. After 12 months in a row without activity, the account is deleted. Its points disappear at the same moment. Should visits to the Island be spaced more than 12 months apart, plan on the old balance being gone.

Slots earn 1 point for every $2 played, so $20 on a slot earns 10 points.
What happens to my points after a year away?
Once 12 months in a row pass with no activity on an account, Red Shores deletes it, points included. No balance outlasts that gap.
